The Cancun Airport is composed of three terminals.

Terminal 1 was the first terminals here and it is mainly used for private planes and freights.

Terminal 2 at Cancun Airport belongs to national flights and some international flights too.

Terminal 3 is used for International flights only, which means that you’ll either arrive and depart through terminal 2 (if you have another flight to board at say, Mexico City, before flying back home or to Cancun) or terminal 3 if your flight is directly from your city of origin to Cancun and viceversa.
